Tri-Fold is the most popular type of fold.
Typically it is known in the market place as a Three Part Brochure or an A4 folded to DL. This size fits into most brochure packs you would see in Hotels, Exhibition Hall, etc.
What are Panels?
If you take a sheet of paper and fold it into three equal parts. You will have three panels on one side and three panels on the back. This is known as a 6 Panel Brochure.
The same applies if you fold the sheet in half and you have two on one side and two on the back. This is known as a 4 Panel Brochure.
