Booklets are a standard tool for promotion and advertising. They are tiny books or magazines which lay around in conference halls, offices and waiting rooms. Sometimes they contain an annual report of the company or showcase the portfolio of an artist. Brochures can also be included in CDs and DVDs; however, usually they are given away as freebies.

What is a Booklet?
A booklet is a number of pages folded in half and stapled or (saddle stitched) together to form a booklet.
One page folded in half has a front cover, two inside pages and a back cover. We call this a 4 page booklet.
We then add a pink page and it goes from a 4 page to an 8 page booklet.
So if we add a yellow page we get a 12 page booklet.
Then a blue page and we get a 16 page booklet and so on.
